Want to know more about C.A.N.? Want to get involved to connect, cultivate, and empower in ASL? Come to a volunteer meeting!! Starting Monday, January 13, 2020 at 6:30 PM… we will meet every other week. Meetings are open to deaf and hearing and anyone interested in rolling up their sleeves to make a positive impact with America Sign Language.
Each meeting has a potluck meal at 6:30. There is a link to sign up for each meal so you know what to bring. You can find the link for each meal on the calendar page. The meeting starts at 7:00 and lasts one hour. We try really hard to stay on topic and be ready to head back home by 8:30. Childcare is provided by volunteer babysitters.
The topic of each meeting usually involves upcoming events, planning, and volunteer opportunities. We will post meeting topics on the website as we are able. Sometimes meetings might just be connecting and learning about each other so we can be better together… because together we CAN!
