Dr. Sarah Sparks joined Montana Family ASL’s weekly parent meeting on May 19, 2021, to tell us about cochlear implants, audiology, and language (spoken and signed).
Dr. Sparks is a deaf clinical audiologist based in Washington, DC. She operates an online audiologic counseling and auditory (re)habilitation practice called Audiology Outside the Box. A cochlear implant user and signer herself, Dr. Sparks provides bilingual services in ASL and English.
